Giancarlo Sandrin, CFA

President - CFA Society Italy

Giancarlo Sandrin is President of CFA Society Italy since 2016 and he is responsible for LGIM’s Italian Wholesale & Retail market. He joined LGIM in 2018 from BlackRock where he held the title of Head of Asset Manager Clients for iShares Italy and was responsible for developing the ETF business among the Italian wholesale market. Prior to that, he was part of HSBC investments covering the Italian wholesale market. Giancarlo graduated from Bocconi University in Economics and he is a CFA Charterholder.

Josina Kamerling

Head, Regulatory Outreach - CFA Institute

Josina Kamerling is Head of Regulatory Outreach for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region for CFA Institute, and is based in the Brussels office. She is responsible for supporting CFA Institute policy development in the region, advancing the impact of advocacy efforts, and promoting capital market integrity and investor protection. Josina participates in working groups at policy level, is a frequent speaker at high level conferences on topics of Fair and Efficient markets, Investor Protection and Ethics. She sits on the board of Observatoire de la Finance and is co-president of the Global Ethics prize for young people in finance: The Ethics in Finance prize. Previously, Josina was a specialist adviser on financial services in the European Parliament for six years, and a Senior Banker as Head of Sales of various sales teams in financial markets both retail, institutional, central banks and corporates and as a global banker for large energy multinationals for 15 years in various EU countries. She is fluent in French, English, Spanish and Italian, as well as her native Dutch.

Martina Tambucci

Head of the International Relations Office - CONSOB - To be confirmed

Martina Tambucci is currently Head of the International Relations Office at Consob, with responsibility for delivering the Authority’s strategy for international engagement with foreign regulators, governments and other stakeholders. In her previous working experience, she acquired a specific expertise in the area of financial benchmarks by acting as Chairman of the Council Working Party on Financial Services under the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union (H2 2014), and then as coordinator of the ESMA task force that developed the Benchmarks Regulation draft second level measures. She graduated from LUISS University of Rome and gained an MPhil in Economics at the University of Derby (UK).

Andrea Beltramello

Member of Executive Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis’ cabinet - European Commission

Andrea Beltramello is a Member of Cabinet of Valdis Dombrovskis, European Commission Executive Vice-President for an Economy that Works for People. He was already a member of Cabinet of Vice-President Dombrovskis in the previous Commission mandate since 2018. Previously he was Deputy Head of the communication Unit in the Commission's Directorate General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markers Union (DG FISMA). Between 2015 and 2017 he was a Policy Officer in the unit responsible for Capital Markets Union in DG FISMA. Between 2012 and 2015 he was Policy Analyst in the Free Movement of Capital and Application of EU Law unit in DG FISMA (formerly DG Internal Market and Services). Between 2007 and 2012, he worked as Economist/Policy Analyst in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, first in the Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs and then in the Directorate for Science, Technology and Industry. In 2006-07 he worked in the international trade and European affairs office of a major European technology company. He holds degrees from the University of Trieste in Italy and the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.

Manuela Mazzoleni

Director of Sustainability - Assogestioni

Director of Sustainability at Assogestioni since 2020, previously Director of Markets and Operations at the association. Between 2011 and 2017 she has been Board Member for the Forum for Sustainable Finance, representing Assogestioni, one of the founding members. Manuela Mazzoleni joined Assogestioni in 2004 as Head of International Relation and Special Projects, mostly working on the Association EU activities and coordinating research projects. Mrs Mazzoleni is also in charge of ICU, a programme designed to promote among young graduates the asset management industry as an attractive and diverse workplace. Earlier in her career, Manuela worked for the European Commission in Luxembourg and in London as project analyst of investment projects in the then transition economies of Eastern Europe. She returned to Italy to join Bain & Company as a business strategy consultant on national and international projects. She holds an honour degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Italy and a MSc in Development studies from Southbank University, London, UK.

Damiano Carrara

Head of ESG & Sustainability Scenario Analysis & Culture Diffusion - Intesa Sanpaolo

From April 2021 Head of ESG & SUSTAINABILITY - Scenario Analysis & Culture Diffusion of Intesa Sanpaolo, structure with the achievement of training and communication projects in the ESG field, management of online sustainability communication (Sustainability section of corporate website), participating in working groups on regulatory issues and drafting the bank's position in public consultations on ESG issues, monitor the evolution of ESG legislation and proactive relations with NGOs. Previously CSR Manager of the UBI Banca Group. Alongside his strong experience in the Sustainability field, he has always dealt with issues related to management control, accounting and the management / development of IT / accounting systems, both at the University of Bergamo and with positions of responsibility within private companies. He is a member of the CSR Manager Network (professional association that brings together professionals who are dedicated to the management of socio-environmental and sustainability issues related to environmental activities) and is a WG ABI member in the field of social responsibility and sustainability.

Federico Baroncelli

ESG Investor Relations Manager - ENEL S.p.A.

After graduating in Economics in 1996, Federico Baroncelli began his professional career as an auditor in Price Waterhouse Coopers first, and then as an Equity Analyst in a consulting firm in Turin. In 2001 he joined Telecom Italia, where he worked in the company’s headquarters in Milan as a Bank Finance associate and then as a Financial Risk Manager. In 2007 he started working in Fiat S.p.A. and in 2011 was appointed responsible for the Capital Markets activities of the company, taking care of bond issuances, relationship with Rating Agencies as well as equity transactions. Following the merger between Fiat and Chrysler, he worked as Head of Capital Markets in Fiat Chrysler’s London headquarters. In January 2019 Federico joined ENEL, where he has been working as responsible for ESG-related issues within the Investor Relations team.
